Grassroots Restorative Justice
We believe true justice is taking what has been broken and making it whole. Mend is dedicated to cultivating community and fostering social healing through grassroots restorative justice circles. Our gatherings bring together social healing practitioners, community members, and justice advocates to work towards restorative justice that restores collaboratively. We gather to heal harm, repair relationships, and build a compassionate, connected community with neighbor and nature through dialogue, empathy, and accountability.

Mend the World Podcast with Malika McKinley Cox and Cece Jones Davis
Mend the World is about gathering people together to reimagine our world as fair, just, equitable, and flourishing for humanity and the planet. Each episode, we look at fractures in our world and face the truth, while also holding space for both grief and hope. We interview social repair practitioners across fields to hear their stories and to gain insight, learn ways in which we can be a part of repair.

The Mend Retreat and Pilgrimages
We believe that a sacred pause, a space for those on the frontlines of social repair to rest, reflect, and reimagine, is crucial for longevity in the work of social repair. Our gatherings and trips call together social healing practitioners to rest, reflect, dream, and remember. We have taken trips to Alabama for a Civil Rights Pilgrimage, Northern Ireland for a look at their Peace process, and to retreats in nature for rest, reconnection, remembrance, and rebalance.
